Step into a modern take on
a centuries-old tradition.
At Comanche Creek Hounds, we celebrate the athleticism of horse and hound, the camaraderie of the field, and the thrill of galloping across the land behind the hounds—all in a laid-back, no-pressure atmosphere where riders of all backgrounds and disciplines are genuinely welcome.
We invite guests and members to ride with us twice a week—either hunting or exercising the hounds—across Colorado’s stunning high plains.
Our field is as diverse as the land we cover. English and Western riders, seasoned foxhunters, first-time guests, junior, endurance athletes, sidesaddle enthusiasts, and more all come together with a shared respect for horses, hounds, and the landowners who make it all possible.
With no rigid dress code, no judgment, and plenty of encouragement, we’re redefining mounted hunting as something joyful, accessible, and deeply rooted in community and nature. Whether you're here for tradition, training, or sheer exhilaration, there’s a place for you in our field.

Hounds Are Hunt Ready & New Country Coming Soon
In August, we unexpectedly lost access to part of our hunt country. We chose to pause events and outreach until new fixtures could be secured.
That work is nearly complete. We are finalizing access to three beautiful new fixtures, and once confirmed, we’ll relaunch our rides, events and membership drive with fresh energy.
