Step into a modern take on

a centuries-old tradition.

At Comanche Creek Hounds, we celebrate the athleticism of horse and hound, the camaraderie of the field, and the thrill of galloping across the land behind the hounds—all in a laid-back, no-pressure atmosphere where riders of all backgrounds and disciplines are genuinely welcome.

We hunt/exercise twice a week across Colorado’s stunning high plains, inviting riders to witness our hounds work scent with purpose and precision.

Our community includes everyone from seasoned foxhunters to first-time guests, united by a shared respect for horses, hounds, and the open land.

With no rigid dress code, no judgment, and plenty of encouragement, we’re redefining the sport as one that’s accessible, joyful, and deeply connected to nature.
