Beasy holds a special place in the heart of Comanche Creek Hounds—she’s the OG, the first hound in the pack, and the one who started it all. She came to us from the huntsman’s former hunt with a few medical issues that needed attention, which led to her surrender. With care, time, and love, Beasy healed—and what emerged is a spry, spunky, and seriously fast hound who hasn’t looked back.

At just three years old, Beasy was all eyes and instincts, eager to chase anything that moved. But she’s matured beautifully into a thoughtful hunter who now trusts her nose—and even more importantly, her handler. She’s learned to distinguish between the right scents to pursue and the ones to leave alone. Where she once bolted, she now stops, looks to her person, and waits for the cue. That growth makes her one of our proudest success stories.

Beasy is easy to spot in the field: sleek and slender, with reddish coloring and crisp white under-markings. She’s a happy, silly girl with a bright spirit—but don’t be fooled. Underneath that playful bounce is a hound who can mean business when it's time to work. She knows her job, and she does it with confidence.

And when it’s time to head out? Expect a little sass. Beasy is known to bark with excitement—“Let’s go! Let’s go! Let’s go!”—a joyful rally cry that captures her boundless enthusiasm for life in the hunt.
